Chapter History

The Cobb County, GA Alumnae Chapter was chartered on October 15, 1991, to promote the purposes and progress of the Fraternity, to foster the association of local alumnae, and to cooperate with and assist Zeta Tau Alpha collegiate chapters. We serve as a community for all alumnae women in Cobb County and the Metro Atlanta area.

Cobb ZTA received recognition from National Council at the 2024 Convention with the Crown Chapter Award.

Our Chapter President Siobhán Alvarez Borland won the 2024 Outstanding Alumnae Chapter Officer award for our area! This new award honors an alumna member who is an effective role model and is involved in ZTA and other community organizations, as well as an excellent leader and mentor for others.
